After a vey long time in the music industry, Emmanuel Andrews Samini a Raggae / Dancehall artist and the Linda hitmaker decided to further his education.

3 years back, Samini gained Admission at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) which many believe that he is offering a political course.
Samini has expressed his gratitude after he was elected as SCR president at GIMPA.
“Thanks to all who believed and encouraged me to go for the topmost… Toy doubters I say a bigger thank you for making me see the need to prove you wrong.

According to the Raggae /Dancehall Artist, his new position as the president of the Student representative council will help strengthen his future plans to become a politician.
“I am happy to serve the people and this opportunity will also help me to understand the governance space,” Samini in his speech as the SRC president,
Mark Okraku Mantey, Deputy Tourism Minister has also prised Samini for his bold step, speaking at the swearing in ceremony, he said that it is a very difficult decision for an Artiste like Samini with all the name he has and his celebrity status to return back to school.

“It is difficult, particularly if you have a few followers there and some of the lecturers opt to speak with you anyhow because of your popularity. However, you have been dedicated to this cause and are in your final year, and for that, I am very proud of you,” He added.
before the election, Samini spoke in an interview on GTV promising the student.
“I have put my ear on the ground and I have watched as well and I know that there are plenty of things that students need.

But with the institution being a private one it can only run-on profit or loss. We would need benevolent Institution to come on board to support them”
And now the student are expecting more from Samini.
